The Manchester United manager says he is "disappointed" after the defender is the only player not to wear the t-shirt in the pre-match warm-up at Old TraffordManchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has criticised defender Rio Ferdinand after the defender did not wear a Kick It Out t-shirt during his side's pre-match warm-up ahead of their game against Stoke at Old Trafford.
Ahead of the match the United boss had questioned Jason Roberts after the Reading striker said he would not wear the t-shirt in protest at what he feels is the lack of progress in the fight against racism.
And Ferdinand now appears to have followed Roberts’ lead, causing Sir Alex to claim his player's actions have embarrassed him and that action will be taken.
