Fulvio Collovati applauds Capello's decision to leave England post
The retired defender thinks that Capello made the right choice and hinted at a Serie A spell for the now-unemployed Italian coach

World Cup winner Fulvio Collovati has backed Fabio Capello's decision to quit as England manager.
Capello handed in his resignation on Wednesday after a disagreement with the Football Association following the governing body's decision to strip John Terry of the England captaincy.
"I was not astonished at all by his decision," Collovati told Goal.com. "I would say there was no way for this relationship to continue.
"It was certainly the right decision. The FA entered a domain in which it had no business.
"I think the FA overreacted on this matter and Capello did everything he had to do."
Questioned about Capello's future, Collovati sees the 65-year-old coaching in Serie A again.
"I think he has several options, but I think there are three possibilities which are very strong," he noted.
"He could coach Inter, Juventus or even Roma. Let us say that he will not be short on offers."
Collovati, who won the 1982 World Cup with Italy, then said that Capello would not be tempted into coaching cash-rich Anzhi Makhachkala.
"I do not think he has interest in an adventure like Anzhi," the former Juve star added. "I think the three clubs I mentioned are the likeliest options for someone like him."
