Chelsea Deserve To Win The Champions League - Petr Cech

Shot-stopper eager for European success...

Petr Cech - Chelsea
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech believes that the Champions League trophy ought to come to west London this season.

The Czech Republic international insists that his side have done enough to conquer Europe on more than one occasion, and that this time it could be the Blues' turn after so many near misses.

"We hope every year that it's finally going to be the year that we win the trophy because over the years we've deserved so many times to get our hands on it," Cech told UEFA.com.

"We hope that this year's going to be the year."

The last time Chelsea got within touching distance of a European triumph was in 2008, when they were beaten by Manchester United on penalties in the Champions League final.
