Arsenal Youngster Kieran Gibbs: I Am Happy To Play In Any Position

Arsenal youngster Kieran Gibbs has admitted that he is happy to play in any position, as long as he gets a chance to represent England.
Under-21 manager Stuart Pearce played the Three Lions' cub on the left side of the midfield during the recent 1-0 win over Portugal at Wembley.
But Gibbs normally plays in the left-back position, as a backup for Gael Clichy, who is currently out on an extended spell on the sidelines.
Although senior national team boss Fabio Capello has reportedly pegged him as a wild card for the World Cup next year, the youngster admits that he is content to continue improving his game.
"The gaffer [Pearce] told me he was going to change me around a bit and use my energy to try and stop them [Portugal] from playing really, so I was happy to get involved," Gibbs is quoted by the Press Association as saying.
"Just get me on the football pitch and I will be happy, so it does not matter where."
The 20-year-old insists that he is looking forward to a good run in the Arsenal first-team, following the injury suffered by Clichy, but is keeping his feet on the ground concerning a potential call-up for South Africa.
"I do look forward to taking my chances but you also have to enjoy it because you do not get opportunities like this all the time," he said.
"I had a little chance last season and now I am looking to do the same again.
"I played in some big games and is all good experience to help make me stronger to come back now this season and for the rest of my career.
"I am not thinking too much about the World Cup because there is still a long season to go."
