Tata Football Academy (TFA) edged past All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) team 3-2 at the Mohun Bagan ground on Sunday.

The Indian FA’s Under-18 team took the lead through Baoringgdao Bodo from a Jerry Lalrinzuala corner-kick in the 12th minute. However, Shubham Ghosh equalized before the stroke of half-time for TFA.

In the second half, TFA nudged ahead through Ghosh as he successfully converted from spot. However, in the injury time of the second half, Lalrinzuala scored the equalizer to take the game to extra time.

Lalrinzuala scored once again in the game, this time into his own net, to put TFA into the lead as the final score read 3-2 to the Jamshedpur-based academy.
