thumbnail Hello,

For the two days of ISL Domestic Player Draft beginning tomorrow, the six clubs in the fray were given a sequence by draw of lots...

The Hero Indian Super League Player Draft is all set to kickoff on July 22 and July 23 after Monday saw the six franchises in the fray decide the drafting sequence after a draw of lots. Team Goa and North East United FC would be staying out as they would be picking players from Dempo SC and Shillong Lajong FC respectively for their domestic quota.

A total of 84 Indian players will be up for the player draft with an additional 7 reserve players in case of injuries or other emergencies. Among them 39 have represented India at the international level.

Mr. Jefferson Slack, Vice President, Global Business Development, Football, IMG was assigned the monumental task of deciding the draft pick sequence along with a team representative in a draw of lots.

While Team Pune would be the first to go in Round One, assigned as the A pick, Team Goa and North East United FC were assigned G and H as they would not be participating in the draft.

Delhi Dynamos FC would be the last to pick in Round One among the six teams while Team Mumbai was just after Pune followed by Kerala Blasters FC, Team Bengaluru and Atletico De Kolkata being the other teams in that order.

The complete order of picking for all fourteen rounds can be seen here
