The AIFF president huddled with high-ranking FIFA officials to discuss pertinent issues
The official headquarters of FIFA in the Zürichberg, Zurich played host to a meeting between FIFA President Joseph (Sepp) Blatter and All India Football Federation President, Praful Patel.
Blatter was accompanied by a delegation that consisted FIFA secretary-general Jerome Valcke and Thierry Regenass who is the Director of the Member Associations and Development Visions department under FIFA. The meeting had been arranged to discuss various issues regarding the hosting of the club World Cup in India.
Alongside, the officials also engaged in a debate about the organisational structure of the 2017 Under-17 World Cup, which is to be held here, in India.
The AIFF Executive Committee meeting has been scheduled on the 14th of this month.
