Eleven under-16 Indians have been chosen to attend a four-day camp, starting April 28 to May 1 at Manchester United Soccer School in England.
Sanath Valldares and Akram Khan from Mumbai, Arka Dey and Rajib Roy from Kolkata, Mohd Aqib and Karan Khurana from Delhi, Premchand Singh (goalkeeper) and Niraj Singh from Bangalore, Liston Colaco and Jolitan Dias from Goa, and Rakesh K from Hyderabad are set to leave for Manchester on Saturday.
23 boys were selected and following a two-day camp where they were judged on various parameters such as skill and mental strength, 11 made the cut.
The camp is scheduled at the Salford City Reds Stadium where players would undergo practical sessions and workshops on 'Live the United Way'.
On May 2, the players will be at the Aon Training Complex witnessing a football festival along with medal presentation and closing ceremony, the release added.
