Lenny Rodrigues had a brilliant 2012-13 season where he won the I-League title with Churchill Brothers and was honoured with the Player of the Year award at the Football Players Association of India's (FPAI) Indian Football Awards.

The Goan midfielder is keen to replicate his performance from last term and believes that he shall improve further.

"For me, I always trust in God and want to give my best. I want to keep working hard and next year also. I want to achieve the same success as the last year" he told GOAL.

Lenny previously revealed that he was approached by the IMG-Reliance to ply his trade in the new league. But the India international stated that his priority for now is to play in the I-League.

"For me I am contracted with my club Churchill Brothers. I have no issues with the IMG-Reliance league but I want to focus and win with Churchill Brothers."

India won the SAFF Championship back in December 2011 and Lenny opines that the Blue Tigers have the talent and determination to defend the title next month in Nepal.

"We will go there (Nepal) and give our best. Hopefully we can defend this title."
