Goal can reveal that the striker, who can also play down the wings, has signed up for the Shillong based club.
The Cameroon International, has represented his country at all age group levels, including at U-17 and U-20 level, before getting a call-up to the national B side in December 2010.
At club level, the player has been with Cameroon based outfit Union Sportive de Douala since 2008, and impressed several observers with his pace and strength, working his way through the various age group levels of the national set-up.
The 23 year old's hope of playing in Europe were dashed last year, when he was denied a visa, and will start next season on Indian shores.
The striker will look to form a partnership upfront with Trinidad and Tobago international Cornell Glen, who was signed last week by the club, with Lajong keen to avoid last years close shave, with relegation. They have retained the services of Japan's Taisuke Matsugane and DPR Korea's Minchol Son from last season.
Libero Sports helped complete the deal.
