India dealt Jhingan blow ahead of AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers

The Indian National team were dealt an early setback with United Sikkim FC's defender Sandesh Jhingan suffering a groin injury in the National team's ongoing training camp in Pune.Jhingan has impressed one and all with his performances this season as he was one of the few players who shined with the relegation threatened Snow Lions.
Dempo SC's Rowilson Rodrigues has joined the camp today and is a like for like replacement for the injured Jhingan.
India's first assignment in the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers will be Chinese Taipei on 2nd March followed by Guam on the 4th. The Blue Tigers biggest challenge in the group stage will be on March 6th when they take on the hosts Myanmar.
