GOAL 2013, India’s first international convention on football business will be launched at the FICCI Federation House on 14-15 February, 2013.
This would be the first international convention focused on the business of football in India. The intention of the event is to bring together the most relevant stakeholders of the industry in India and create business opportunities for all involved, thereby helping Indian football grow.
The convention would be held at the FICCI Federation House and will include conference, B2B Meetings, networking lunch and dinner as well as exhibitions.
This pioneering initiative to promote Indian football will also focus on issues regarding football in Asia and opportunities in India, AIFF “Lakshya 2022”, the importance of the U-17 2017 FIFA World Cup and a host of other sessions which shall focus on popularizing football in India, with one debate being aptly titled 'Reconceptualizing of Indian League system: Club v/s City Franchisee'.
The panels for such discussions, would consist of prominent personalities who are directly involved in the Indian football system with the promised presence of key stakeholders in Indian football right from the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Sports Authority of India, FIFA, AIFF, AFC, International leagues, clubs and academies, to players, coaches and technical staff and brands, agencies, NGOS, universities and educational institutions among others.
