Agger set to take over Liverpool India's Twitter account for a day

The Danish centre-half will be handling the club's official India Twitter feed on January 24, 2013 and fans will have direct access to the player...
In a move that will please many a Liverpool fan across India, Danish centre-half Daniel Agger will be in charge of the Merseyside club's official India Twitter feed. The five-time European champions become the first English top-flight club to launch such an initiative.

@IndiaLFC, which is managed in Delhi and Liverpool, is to tweet in English, but will deliver country-specific information for the club’s ever-expanding Indian fan-base. It provides their current 4,000+ followers with the latest club and player news, as well as interactions with Liverpool fans who live in the country.

Agger already has a connection to India as his foundation helped street children in India in September 2012. Volunteer Kammilla Norregaard-Sarup who works for charity organization, LittleBigHelp approached The Agger Foundation for help to get slum children off the streets in Kolkata, India. The foundation made a generous donation of £1500 to Kammilla who had sold her house and moved permanently to Kolkata to help feed 20 street children for an entire year.

Fans can send in their questions to @LFCIndia accompanied with the hashtag #AskAgger. The best questions will be answered by the player himself.
