thumbnail Hello,

The two strikers make their debut in the Team of the Round (TOTR), while Lajong defender Minchol Son appears for the third time...

I-League matchday 4 saw a lot of drama as two players saw red, and the chasing pack closed the gap on the leaders. Also a couple of teams recorded their first wins of the campaign.

A brace from Pradeep Mohanraj helped Air India beat ONGC 4-2 away to put their first points on board,  while Salgaocar FC also picked up their first league win, courtesy an early Francis Fernandes strike, to down Mumbai FC 1-0.

A stoppage time penalty handed Churchill Brothers a vital 1-0 win at Pune FC, after the home side were down to 10 men following Caitano Costa's sending off. United Sikkim too saw Bhaichung Bhutia get his marching orders, 7 minutes after he came on as a substitute, but managed to hold on to a 0-0 draw with Pailan Arrows.

Sporting Clube de Goa were on the receiving end of an Odafa hattrick, as the Mariners picked up their first home win of the season, winning 3-1. East Bengal ended reigning champions and league leaders Dempo's 100% record, holding them to a 1-1 draw in Kolkata.

Shillong Lajong made home advantage count as they beat highly fancied Prayag United 3-2, with Friday Gbeneme and Ranti Martins netting braces for their respective teams.
