The youngster who is currently in the United Kingdom is set to begin a trial with Leicester City FC after his two week-trial with Reading ended last week.Indian youngster Brandon Fernandes might just be the first Indian footballer to don the colours of a Premiership club. After the successful completion of his two-week trial with Reading FC, the Goa youngster feels that he has done enough to impress the Reading scouts.
"I've done my best during the trial period at Reading FC. It was difficult at the start since it was more of direct football and a lot physical, but once the adjustments were made, I was as good as anybody else," said Brandon in a telephonic interview to The Times Of India.
The youngster trained with the Reading U-21 squad and played one practice game behind closed doors. Brandon played the whole 90 minutes and feels that his performance could open up new avenues.

"I had two (goal) assists and we scored three goals. I felt confident throughout the match and never felt out of place. I'm pretty confident that I have done enough," said Fernandes after having earned his ticket to England after impressing scouts in the ASD Soccer Academy at Cape Town.
The Goan youngster is now set to undergo a similar trial with Leicester City FC from this week.
