India U-16 side lost their second successive match against UAE U-16 as the latter edged out the former 3-2 at the UAE FA Stadium in Dubai on Friday.
Daniel Lalamphuia, who had scored against the same opponents a few days back, opened the scoring in the 25th minute. UAE did manage to go into the half-time break with a one goal lead with the scoreline reading 2-1.
India earned a penalty in the second half from which Alen Deroy did the needful and restored parity however the West Asians scored the winner to register a 3-2 victory.
The Indians are training in Dubai as part of their preparations for the AFC U-16 Championships later this month where they have placed in Group A alongside Uzbekistan, China and Syria.
