thumbnail Hello,

The Men in Blue have dropped points are now placed at the 168th spot in the latest FIFA Rankings…

India have slumped in the FIFA rankings ladder as they now find themselves in the 168th slot. However they continue to occupy the 32nd position in the continental rankings.

The Blue Tigers were ranked 163rd the last time around but having not played a single international game since the Challenge Cup debacle in Nepal hasn’t helped their cause any further.

India had won the SAFF Championships back in December but still find themselves behind Maldives (161), Nepal (162) and Afghanistan (164). Bangladesh have seen themselves drop from 151 to 169 in a month.

Wim Koevermans’ India will be the lowest ranked nation in the Nehru Cup as Cameroon (59), Syria (147), Maldives and Nepal are placed higher in the rankings ladder.

Japan are the highest Asian ranked nation at 22nd spot followed by Australia at 24. South Korea just about made it into the top 30 as they are placed 29th.
