Shillong Lajong Football Club on Friday announced the signing of Scottish football coach, who was also the former head coach of AIFF’s Indian Arrows Project. The club has signed the coach and 5 other players in an attempt to strengthen their side ahead of I-League 2012-13.
Announcing the signing of Bulpin, Shillong Lajong FC secretary Larsing M Sawyan said that he was confident that Bulpin's introduction into the club would lend a hand in trying to move up the I-League table next season.
Bulpin has worked in England with clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers, Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Stockport County, Plymouth Argyle and Leicester City as their youth team coach.
He has also been the manager of the Philippines side and the U-17 Uzbekistan team.

The club have also retained the services of Renedy Singh, Sushil Kumar, Chitra Sen Singh and John D Meyongar. Gobind Singh from Sikkim United and Jeebon Singh of Pailan Arrows are some of the new faces added to the squad.
Basant Singh, who is a former Sikkim United player, and Rolin Son Hungyo of Pune FC are part of Lajong's roster while Milchol Son, a DPR Korea U-23 National player, has joined the club for a couple of months and his contract would be extended if he manages to excel in the pre-season.
