The Men in Blue remain static at 164 in the latest edition of the FIFA rankings released this month
While India has taken part in no International football event since the AFC Challenge Cup debacle in Nepal, the country continues to occupy the 164th slot in the latest FIFA rankings.
India dropped a point to slide to a total of 121 points and are ranked 31st amongst the 46 Asian teams in the rankings They are the third highest ranked team in South Asia with Nepal and Bangladesh ranked higher at 149 and 152 respectively.
The Blue Tigers have no International commitments in the next couple of months, with the Nehru Cup, which may be held in August being their next possible assignment.
Japan have overtaken Australia as the highest placed Asian team as they jump seven places to occupy the 23rd slot while Australia have gone down to the 24th.
World champions Spain continue to top the FIFA rankings, with Uruguay and Germany swapping positions at second and third respectively. Netherlands are placed fourth followed by Brazil, England, Argentina, Croatia and Denmark.
Portugal have slumped five places down to the 10th spot.
