FC Barcelona to hold a second training camp in India
After Delhi, FCBEscola in association with Conscient Football, will hold another training camp for 180 footballers at Bengaluru....
After having earlier held a training camp in Delhi, FCBEscola in association with Conscient Football will start its second round of training camp in Bengaluru in May 2012 as FC Barcelona continues on its commitment to provide extensive training at grassroots level in India.
Announcing the Camp in Bengaluru, Anupama Jain, Director – Conscient Football, said, “It makes us very proud to extend our camps to Bengaluru. Bengaluru has unmatched passion for football and is precisely the reason why we extended the camps to Bengaluru before any other city. We hope to bring the best training methodologies from the world to India with the help of FCBEscola training camps.”
As many as 180 participants shall undergo a 5 day intensive coaching camp, where 15 hours of training will be given to each trainee at the Bangalore Football Stadium, Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru, where the camp will be held from May 21, 2012 – May 25, 2012. There shall be two batches, one from 7.30 A.M to 10.30 A.M while another from 3.30 P.M to 6.30 P.M.
The training imparted will be on the same lines as that imparted in La Masia, with the program divided into three segments – Introduction, Pre-Training and Training for children in the age groups of 6–17. The 5 day camp will blend practical training on the pitch and in the classroom with focus on technical, tactical and off-the-pitch tools necessary to succeed in football and in life.
The camp will be headed by a coach from FCBEscola and he will be assisted by one more Spanish coach and 6 coaches from Conscient Football. The participants will be divided in following groups - Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 17.
