India Women's Team Re-Enter FIFA Rankings

The Indian eves are ranked 55th in the world
After being stripped off from the FIFA rankings for not playing an international match for almost two years, the Indian national women's football team is now back into the FIFA ranking system.

The Indian women won the gold in the South Asian Games in Dhaka scoring 29 goals in five matches. Thanks to that splendid performance the women's team have made their return to the FIFA World rankings in 55th place, just below Greece.

They last appeared in the December FIFA rankings when they were placed 92nd.
Meanwhile in the Asian rankings list, India lie at 13th position sandwiched between Iran and Hong Kong.
