The All India Football Federation's (AIFF) Emergency Committee is expected to meet on Sunday at Kolkata to mull over several matters which could change the course Indian football in the coming years.

The Committee comprises of Indian FA president, Praful Patel, the three vice-presidents - Subrata Dutta, Ankur Dutta and A.R.Khaleel, Hardev Jadeja, the treasurer along with the general secretary, Alberto Colaco.

One of the primary agendas of the meeting is to name the I-League's CEO for which the interviews were conducted on the 12th of this month. The shortlisted candidates for the same are Anil Kamat, Sundando Dhar and Harish Rao. According to the Indian FA, the I-League CEO will have the overall responsibility for administering all competitions for the professional clubs and for designing and implementing programmes to develop the professional clubs.

India's performance in the age group tournaments under Colin Toal shall also be under review and the Committee would look at the progress report.

The Federation Cup main tournament which was to be held in Assam is in quandary after the blasts which rocked the north eastern state On November 22 in the Nalbari area killing seven with another 53 injured. This was followed by a bandh, or a strike, was called in protest of the attack and many I-League coaches have been vocal about shifting the venue as they feel it's "unsafe" to travel to Assam, where they are several separatist movements going on.

The Committee might even discuss the possibility of shifting the Federation Cup to another venue if deemed necessary.
