The Indian Team Reaches Barcelona

The Indian team reached Barcelona on Tuesday evening after completing the ten day preparatory camp in Dubai. The team will be based at the Catalan capital till 6th August, where they will train and also play four practice matches.

The team were given a rest day on Wednesday but their training will start from Thursday at La Masia, Barcelona youth academy.  

They will be playing four practice matches on 25th& 29th (July), 1st & 4th August. The opponents are yet to be confirmed but it will not be against any of the top Spanish clubs as any heavy defeat might demoralize the team.  

The squad will be leaving for India on 7th August and later that month they will be defending the Nehru Cup at Delhi’s Ambedkar Stadium.
