Mohammedan have already signed the likes of Dipendu Biswas and Sasthi Duley. Now after signing Anupam Sarkar they have added more experience to their squad.

The versatile defender failed to get a regular place at East Bengal last season so he would be looking to revive his career at Mohammedan. The black and whites have also signed Zamir Ali Mondal and Rajib Shukla.

Fellow Kolkata club Chirag United have also completed the signing of midfielder Lalkamal Bhowmick from Mohun Bagan.

Another former Mohun Bagan player Subhashish Roy Chowdhury was retained by Chirag for another season while young defender Safar Sardar has returned to the club after a one year spell at George Telegraph.
