The 26 member
squad had to travel to Dubai for the national camp as the infrastructure in
India wasn’t up to the mark, which left coach Bob Houghton no chance of
organising a training camp within the country.
It is believed that Climax Lawrence was running high fever and didn’t travel with the squad. The Indian midfielder is expected to join the team in Spain for the exposure trip.
The Indian players visited the Chapman’s youth Development Academy at Vasant Valley School. The players interacted with the kids and answered all the questions asked.
Squad:
Goalkeepers: Arindam Bhattacharya, Subrata Paul, Subhashish Roy Chowdhary
Defenders: Govin Singh, Gouramangi Singh, Mahesh Gawli, Samir Naik, Surkumar, Anwar, Deepak Mandal, NS Manju, Mohanraj, Rakesh Masih.
Midfielders: Anthony Pereira, Clifford Miranda, Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Syed Rahim Nabi, Renedy Singh, Baldip Singh, Jagpreet Singh, NP Pradeep, Steven Dias.
