Known for being quick and running past a defender, Aseem has signed for Mahindra United for a year and is excited about the new challenge ahead.

Speaking to Goal.com, Aseem said, “I feel great to be re-united with David Booth. At Mumbai FC, it was great to work with him and once he left, I didn’t have any hopes of working under him.”

The 26 year old was one of the impressive players at Mumbai FC along with his twin brother Anees, who is hot on the radar of Pune FC.

“At Mahindra United, I will have a different challenge altogether. There will be the pressure to win the title while at Mumbai FC it was different. We had to first think of our chances to survive in the I-League,” said the left winger.

“I am keenly awaiting the new season and hope to continue the good work. I would like to win a major trophy with Mahindra United,” said the player on a concluding note.
