Mohun Bagan Snap Another Two Midfielders
Mohun Bagan seems to be the busiest in the transfer market as they snapped two more midfielders with Micky Fernandes and Genius Zenith joining their ranks.
After a successful season which saw them winning three trophies and finishing runners-up in the I-League, Mohun Bagan are desperate to take their glorious season onto the next level as they have been on a signing spree.
At the start of the I-League, Coach Karim Bencherifa suffered due to a lack of quality central medio and that soon changed in the form of Marcos Pereira who built an excellent partnership with Rakesh Masih. The Green and Maroons have already snapped the signing of Mumbai FC’s successful midfield duo of Kalia Kulothungan and Riston Rodrigues.
With the addition of Micky Fernandes, they have added the necessary steel for games which would be more of a physical nature. Genius Zenith was under Karim Bencherifa earlier when the latter was at Churchill Brothers. The player’s versatility is what is said to have been the key factor for his transfer to Mohun Bagan.
