The Indian internationals have been mulling over this project for long and now have former Vasco SC coach Elvis Goes to accompany them.

Speaking to Goal.com, Climax said, “I believe we lack in youth development and we want to give something back to the society. As I learned under my coach Micky Rebello back then as a kid, I want others also to get this chance.

“Elvis Goes is with us and we hope to make our plans public soon.”

The famous Chowgule Sports Complex which has the only artificial turf in India shall be from where the Academy is expected to work.

“We shall operate from the Chowgule Complex. We want to give youngsters a platform wherein they shall be given speed and agility training coupled with footballing lessons. The age group would be from 6-12 and 12-16,” said Elvis.

Assisting the trio are Climax’s brother Covan Lawrence and ex-footballer Richie Sanchez.
