Stanley Rosario: Fantastic Work, Goal.com
Salgaocar coach Stanley Rosario has lauded Goal.com for the launch of personalized websites of some major Indian footballers and says that this is going to send a positive note to everyone.
Goal.com launched ten Indian footballers' websites last week. Among the players are Sunil Chhetri, Mahesh Gawli, Climax Lawrence and NP Pradeep. This is the first time that such a thing has happened in Indian football and messages of gratitude, support and well wishes have been coming from across India and even from Europe.
The former East Bengal coach was hugely enthusiastic about the initiative taken by Goal.com and expressed his gladness at this. Rosario remarked, "It is fantastic. It is a good move. It is a positive one for the players and will also attract the youngters to come forward."
Rosario also said that these personalized websites would allow the fans and the players to come closer but he added that for that to happen, there should be commitment.
"I hope so (that the fans and the players come closer because of the websites). I hope that the players are committed to this. They should chat with the fans on their respective websites more often. "
The Salgaocar coach added, "But I appreciate what Goal.com have done. It is great."
