We caught up with the members of the Mohun Bagan community on Orkut and asked them a set of questions about their love for the club and about their community. Here is what they had to say.

Goal.com: How did you come to know about this community?

Tapabrata Banerjee from Kolkata: I joined Orkut was back in September 2005. I joined this community a few months later when I found this from the community list of the owner, who is actually my senior at school.

Sounav Dhawa from West Bengal: I joined Orkut in July 2006 and and joined this community immediately.

Goal.com: What do you think is so special about this community that you are so attached to it?

Rahul Mukherjee from West Bengal: The members are awesome and all are huge supporters of Mohun Bagan. If we lose a game and I feel depressed, then I sign in and observe that all the others feel the same way. This gives me a sense of belongingness.

Tapabrata Banerjee from Kolkata: This is one of the best places to discuss all things Mohun Bagan. The members are passionate, well informed and regular. Some also go to the team’s practice sessions and give us their first hand experience.

Sounav Dhawa from West Bengal: This community is all about the Green and Maroons. Here we get all the information and news and discuss all things related to Mohun Bagan.

Goal.com: You all support Mohun Bagan. But there must be some disagreements at times. What do you do then?

Souvick Basu from West Bengal: By discussing issues, we exchange ideas and try and find out the solutions. Often, we try to let the club officials know about our ideas through some of our eminent members.

Tapabrata Banerjee from Kolkata: Sometimes here are ‘fights’ but most of the times these fights arise because of the fans’ passion and we are able to resolve matters pretty quickly. At the end of the day we all are Mohun Bagan supporters and that is the thread that ties us.

Goal.com: Tell us about your love for Mohun Bagan and for your community.

Rahul Mukherjee from West Bengal: I would like to thank the owner and the moderators for giving us the privilege to be members of this great community. May this community expand in the days to come.

Tapabrata Banerjee from Kolkata: My father and I are big Mohun Bagan supporters and we follow the game together. Along with the other Mohun Bagan supporters and the members of this community, we enjoy our success and also stay together in difficult times.

Debabrata Dutta from Kolkata: I will be a Mohun Baganee till I die. Jai Ho Mohun Bagan.

Rupam: I am just a Mohun Baganee just like I'm an Indian or a Hindu. This community is like my home and everyone here is part of my family.

Sounav Dhawa from West Bengal: Mohun Bagan is my religion, my heart, my soul….my everything….

Souvick Basu from West Bengal: I have inherited this love for Mohun Bagan from my father, who was a huge Bagan supporter. He is no more in this world but I am sure he must still be supporting our club from Heaven.
