Top and Flop: Shillong Lajong 3-0 Bengaluru FC

Here's a look at the top and flop of the match where Shillong Lajong surprised favourties Bengaluru FC
Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

TOP: Cornell Glen

The Trinidad and Tobago marksman ran the show for Shillong Lajong who surprised leaders Bengaluru with a smash and grab win. He came close to scoring in the 66th minute before putting his name on the scoresheet twice, earning his team a 3-0 win over the favorites.

FLOP: Sunil Chhetri

Much was expected from the India skipper who has taken this season's I-League by storm but he was nullified by the Shillong defense and his presence was hardly felt on the field.
