thumbnail Hello,

The Goan side have won each of their last four games where Dudu has scored...

Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

TOP: DUDU OMAGBEMI

The Salgaocar striker pulled two rival defenders towards him, namely Peter Costa and Anwar Ali, which in turn created empty spaces for his team-mates to exploit in an otherwise compact Mumbai FC backline. Dudu calmly placed the ball past Kunal Sawant to double his side's lead after receiving a pass from Clifton Dias in the injury time of the first half and could have scored another after the break.

FLOP: AHMED HATIFIE

Hatifie was very complacent in the way he went for the ball. His lack of positioning sense allowed that extra space for the Salgaocar players to operate. The Afghan was the only player to get himself in the referee's books.
