Top and Flop: United SC 2-2 Shillong Lajong

United went 2-0 up at home to Lajong but were pegged back and had to settle for a share of the spoils...
Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

TOP: Eric Brown

The Liberian orchestrated the proceedings for United SC. he scored the first for his side and thereby initiated several attacks. In the second half too, he set-up a couple of good goal scoring opportunities for his team-mates who failed to capitalise on them.

FLOP: Baldeep Singh

The former JCT player made hash of the chances that came his way in the second half. Had he scored even once, the game would have been put to bed with his side getting full points instead of one.
