thumbnail Hello,

The Maha Derby ended in a victory for the underdogs, Mumbai FC who seemed to have continue in their Yakubu inspired form...

Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

The Mumbai FC winger was in fine touch once again as it was his delightful deliveries which sparked havoc in the Pune defense. He assisted in either half and ended up with two assists with both Pradeep and Yakubu having to only nod the ball into the net, such was the quality of the delivery.

The Dutch striker has failed to settle in, adding to Pune FC's worries in front of goal as he had around three clear cut chances to score in the entire game but his tentativeness and hesitancy in front of goal meant that he failed to convert any of them.
