The Rangdajied head coach was happy with his side's performance despite the defeat to East Bengal and is confident his side will bounce back..
Santosh Kashyap though was pleased with his side's display at Shillong despite suffering a home defeat and is confident his side can bounce back.
"We got many chances in the first half but we could not convert. But we will try our best in the other games, they defended very well. It was an equally contested games. They played well, we also played well and in the end we lost" Kashyap said.
"We were playing against one of the best sides so we have to create chances to win. They created a lot of chances, we also created a lot of chances but they got the goal that proved to be the difference" he added.
With that loss Rangdajied slipped into the drop zone but Kashyap is confident that his side can turn their fortunes around in the next few fixtures.
"I am happy with the way the team played, we will put on our best show in the next two games and try to get out of the relegation zone" he said.
"As I am telling you, the league is very competitive. We cannot go unbeaten in the whole league. We were unbeaten in four matches and now we lost. We played well but we lost. Every team is suffering, look at Bengaluru and Salgaocar"
"I am happy with the way we played, we created a lot of chances but we could not win the game."
"I don't feel there was due to a lack of co-ordination. We created a lot of chances but just lacked the goal. We played very well here but in the end it was the result that matters and they won, we lost" he concluded.
