thumbnail Hello,

Although Christopher wrote himself into the headlines with a brace on debut, it was Odafa Okolie who ran the show in Bagan's triumphant 4-0 win over United SC...

Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

The Nigerian who was booed last time around put in a captain's performance against United SC as he was involved in all four of his side's goals. While the first two involved him setting up new strike partner Christopher Chizoba, it was his brilliant turn in midfield which allowed Katsumi Yusa space to exploit for the third goal scored by Ram Malik. He rounded it up by getting on the scoresheet himself for Bagan's fourth to open his account for the season.

United SC's new Syrian recruit, Hasan Al Moustafa who shadowed Christopher Chizoba throughout the match was at fault for both of the first two goals as he was ball watching the first time while allowing Odafa to turn him inside out for the second.
