thumbnail Hello,

A first half strike by Ogba Kalu Nnanna separated the two Goan sides as Salgaocar FC succumbed to their third defeat of this campaign...

Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

TOP: BOIMA KARPEH

The Ivorian-Australian striker worked tirelessly and was involved every attacking move of the team. He has developed a good understanding, particularly with Kalu, as the two combined well to create a number of opportunities for each other.

FLOP: CAJETAN FERNANDES

Milagres had some of the easiest opportunities to get on the scoresheet. He was brought on as a substitute in place of Brian Mascarenhas, but didn't help Salgaocar's cause. In the 70th minute, Milagres had his final chance to score the equaliser but his toe-poke was a rather tame one from a Gilbert Oliviera cross when he had plenty of time to place his shot.
