I-League Team of the Week 10: Salgaocar maintain top spot

A draw against Pune FC saw Salgaocar remain in first place while East Bengal ended Mohun Bagan's unbeaten streak with a 1-0 win in the Kolkata derby. Here's the team of the week..
Gameweek 10 of the I-League saw Salgaocar remain at the top of the table despite drawing at home to Pune FC while East Bengal edged out the Kolkata derby.

Darryl Duffy's early strike was cancelled out by a Mustapha Riga penalty as Salgaocar drew 1-1 with second-placed Pune at the Duler Stadium.

Shillong Lajong and Rangdajied United played out a hard fought 1-1 draw in the north east derby.

Meanwhile, Churchill Brothers, the defending I-League champions, failed to pick up a win yet again as they were held to a goalless draw against Mohammedan Sporting at the Salt Lake Stadium.

Bengaluru FC was back at home but couldn't get back on track as a drab 0-0 draw against Sporting Clube de Goa kept them from closing the gap on the top two.

Dempo missed a host of chances at home to United SC and were made to pay dearly as an Eric Brown brace secured a 2-1 win for the away side.

And finally, East Bengal earned the bragging rights in the Kolkata derby as a sublime strike from Lalrindika Ralte was enough to beat Mohun Bagan 1-0.
