The former Arrows player has joined the Goan club for a season long loan deal and will be deployed as a full back…
Prabir Das is the latest player from Arrows to be roped in by Dempo SC after having already sealed deals for Narayan Das, Alwyn George, Pronay Halder and Holicharan Narzary.
The club sealed the deal on Thursday afternoon as the 19 year old reunited with his former boss Arthur Papas.
Das has represented the India U-19 outfit and featured 24 times for Arrows last term. He suffered from a heatstroke and collapsed on the field in an I-League game against United SC at the Kalyani Stadium back in April this year.
Dempo had little option but to make a move for the youngster with injuries to Samir Naik and Shallum Pires while playing in the Goa Pro League. Naik has a muscle tear in his calf while Pires has an Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
According to sources close to Goal, Papas aims to deploy Das as a full back.
