The Purple Brigade staged a dramatic comeback to deny the Red Machines their first victory...

Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

The United Sports Club midfielder pulled off a stellar performance after Eelco Schattorie opted to drop him in the last game. He was instrumental in the team's comeback as he orchestrated most of his team's attacks. He scored the first goal for his side by heading home an Eric Brown corner-kick.

He did well to track back to snatch the ball from the Churchill midfielders and his brilliant work-rate earned him the man of the match award.

The United defender produced a sub par performance against Churchill Brothers. For the second goal scored, he committed himself into a tackle and allowed Balwant Singh to run at goal unhindered. His undecisiveness was hurting the home side and despite his team's victory, he was the flop of the game.
