Top and Flop: Rangdajied United 1-1 Churchill Brothers

The newbies held the defending champions in an even affair, as both of them are still without any victory in this edition of the league...
Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

The Rangdajied United winger was the star performer of the fixture as he created danger every time he pulled off those impressive runs down the flanks. He was the live-wire of the team, carving the opposition wide open for his team time and again. Everytime he had the ball in his feet, he looked a man on a mission and created something out of it. The youngster was very unlucky not to see his name on the scorecard, as he rattled the framework of the goal twice.

The Indian international had one of his rare bad days in office as he was far from his usual dynamic self. He lost possession on a number of occasions and was also sloppy when the opponent had the ball as he failed to catch up with their pace.
