Top and Flop: Mumbai FC 1-1 Dempo SC

Two late goals on either side of the half for both sides saw the spoils shared.
Welcome to Goal's new I-League feature: Top and Flop. For every game, a candidate will be put forward, as chosen by Goal, who deserves recognition for achieving something special. It won't necessarily be the best player in the league - but whoever we nominate will have done something amazing. In the same vein, we will also name a player whose performance wasn’t up to the mark on the given day and eventually came to hurt his side.

Jeje wins this week's Goal Top of the week Award for the basic reason that he got the goal. It was a poor performance by Dempo all round but Jeje gave them the lead with a well taken header. Yet again shunted on the wing, he tried his best but it is not ideal as a position for him. Showed decent movement and some good pace on occasions as well.

As pathetic a performance as you shall see from a foreigner this season. looked uninterested when not in possession, had a poor touch, did not hold up play one bit, was found flat footed on several occasions. His head was down for most of the second half and its a mystery how he saw out the game.
