As Goal has revealed earlier, the league was reduced from 15 teams to 14 after the AIFF decided to discontinue the Pailan Arrows project starting from the 2013-14 season.
Defending champions Churchill Brothers SC are set to host Salgaocar FC in a Goan derby in the opening match of the I-League at the Duler stadium, while the two Kolkata derbies between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan will be held on 24 November 2013 and 12 April 2014 - both at the Salt Lake stadium.
I-League action is set to return at the Cooperage stadium from 12 April 2014 with a Maratha derby between Mumbai FC and Pune FC.
Other venues include the Balewadi stadium (Pune), Bangalore football stadium (Bengaluru), Jawarharlal Nehru Stadium (Shillong), Barasat (Kolkata), Tilak Maidan and Jawarharlal Nehru Stadium (both in Goa).
"The meeting was a fruitful one. The fixtures were discussed in detail with all club representatives. Everyone was given a chance to voice their concerns and only after hearing them did we finalise the fixtures for the upcoming I-League Season," I-League CEO Sunando Dhar stated in a release.
"Broadcasting timings were also discussed in detail in order to grab more eyeballs watching the I-League," he added.
