The Mumbai outfit continue their signing spree and have built a competitive squad for their first season in top flight...

Continuing their efforts to build a strong and competitive side for next season, Mumbai Tigers have signed Lester Fernandez, who is set to be joined by former Prayag United team-mate Shylo Malsawmtluanga.

Goal can reveal that Bimal Ghosh's side have beaten off competition from Mohun Bagan and a couple of Goan clubs, to agree terms with Lester Fernandez on a one year contract.

The former Pune FC player was keen to move elsewhere, after not getting anough game-time under Eelco Schattorie last term.

Lining up alongside might be his former Prayag United team-mate Shylo Malsawmtluanga.

The winger had a good season last year, but was looking for a move this summer. After an agreement with Mohun Bagan fell-apart, Mumbai Tigers moved in to complete a deal.

With the player having reportedly agreed on release terms with Prayag, he will join the Tigers on a one year deal, adding further bite to the team.
