Bencherifa lauded the team effort and said that his team had answered back all the criticsm directed towards them.
"Players took responsibility and played really well. I am completely satisfied with the performance."
However he refused to accept that the pressure was off, but said the axe of the impending relegation still hangs over him and the team.
"I don't think that we are relieved of the pressure just yet. We have to win all our remaining games and we also have to improve."
While he commended all his players for their gutsy display under the scorching sun, he had special praise for central defender Echezona Anyichie, who put in a great showing.
"Eche(zona) was great today. He was commanding at the back. Right at the end he did appear a bit sluggish but that was after the injury he suffered."
Meanwhile, when questioned about Odafa Okolie's lack of precision in front of goal, as the striker missed a few sitters, in spite of scoring one, Karim dismissed the suggestion that the Nigerian lacked effort.
"Odafa had just recovered from a fever. So it was obvious that he would be tired late on, especially in this inhumane heat. Still I am happy that he has given his best."
Karim also stressed on being patient and then the results would automatically come.
"The team has gone through a lot of stress and we desperately need everyone's support. We have to also be patient and then the results will come."
