I-League team of the round 6 - Penn Orji reprises his role, while Aibor makes his debut

Goal.com summarizes all the action of the I-League and selects a team from the best performers of round 6...
Round six of the I-League started with ONGC upsetting big boys and champions, Dempo SC 3-1, which saw the Goan side drop from the I-League summit.

This paved the way for either of Churchill Brothers or East Bengal to climb to top, and the Red and Gold brigade duly obliged pulverising Subhash Bhowmick's men at their own backyard in a lopsided 3-0 victory for the Kolkata side.

Mridul Banerjee, the caretaker coach for the Green and Maroon signed off in style, with Karim Bencherifa scheduled to take over by beating Karim's old side 3-0 at the Salt Lake Stadium.

Meanwhile, Mumbai FC were picking up steam as they recorded their second victory in a row, after thumping Shillong Lajong 4-1 at home.

Prayag however slowed down but still scrapped to a victory with a late goal over Pailan Arrows, beating them 2-1.

Sporting Clube de Goa bounced back with a win over United Sikkim FC, greeting player-manager Bhaichung Bhutia with a loss in his first match where he took charge.

Due to the demise of Balasaheb Thackeray in Mumbai, the match between Pune FC and Air India was a no show and had to be postponed.
