Pune FC will be looking to make the most of the rest afforded to them in the last round of games after their match was called off. With United Sikkim yet to pick so much as a point on their travels, it all seems to point to a Pune victory.
Derrick Pereira's side has made a decent start to the league campaign picking up 9 points from a possible 15. They have been particularly strong at home. Daisuke Nishiguchi has shown good form and has been one of the standout players for Pune this season.
|United Sikkim will have a tough time handling Daisuke
Since the opening day defeat of Salgaocar, the Snow Lions have picked up just 1 point from their league games till now. Interim manager Baichung Bhutia will need to tighten the team up defensively as they hold the dubious honour of having conceded the most number of goals in the division this season. Added to that, they'll be playing their third consecutive away game, and having lost the previous two, it does not bode well for them
Pune FC: Pune will have all their players fresh owing to the extra rest. So expect a full strength starting 11, with Abhra Mondal also closing in to full fitness.
United Sikkim FC: Although they did lose narrowly to Sporting, they will most likely name an unchanged side.
