The former India assistant coach felt that forward Akram Moghrabi's recent performances have merited him his starting place in the team.
"He's been playing very well," he remarked, "He scored in the last game as well as this one," said Dias.
"What we want is goals and that is what he is doing," was his reply when asked about his selection ahead of Henri Antouchet in the team.
Although Churchill eventually ran out as winners, they took their time to get into their stride, with the visitors pressurising them from the start.
"For the first 15 minutes we were unsettled," the coach agreed, "Mumbai FC started putting pressure on us but later on we came back into the game."
Mumbai were down to ten men for a majority of the game, after defender Evans Quao was sent off was bringing down Akram Moghrabi who was through on goal.
"We could have got more (goal)," quipped the former Goa team coach, "Beto missed a couple of sitters with one hitting the post."
