"Yes, not winning the Federation Cup was a bit disappointing. But I must say that we played very good football in the tournament and the fact that we reached the final spoke of the effort and committment the players showed during the tournament," Armando told The Navhind Times.
Colaco felt that Dempo performed well despite playing their matches at two different venues, namely Jamshedpur and Siliguri.
Being an advocate of playing entertaining football in order to achieve results, Colaco doesn't put undue pressure on his boys to change their style to yield results.

"We at Dempo do not pressurise the players and allow them to play with freedom. This has helped form a base for success at an early stage," remarked the Goan. This philosophy will be tested when Dempo kick off their I-League campaign against Churchill Brothers at the Fatorda stadium on Saturday.
"Churchill did very well during the Federation Cup and we know that they will be ready for us," said Colaco.
Dempo's healthy amalgamation of attractive football along with the ability to grind out a result sees them as firm favourites yet again for the exciting league season to come.
