Sporting Clube de Goa has lodged a complain against Mumbai FC coach Khalid Jamil following Monday's I-League encounter between the two teams.

The letter of protest includes the translations provided by Sporting's striker James Moga, of words that were uttered to him by the 34-year-old coach.

The Goan club have stated that after the third goal was scored by them, the Mumbai FC coach, who was close to Moga on the touchline, shouted expletives at the Sudanese striker, referring to his nation as well as religion. Jamil is also said to have hurled abusive words at the forward which hurt the striker and his family's sentiments.

The club further go on to state in their memo that the motives behind the ex-Indian international's outburst was to get their striker, who was already on a booking, sent-off, by provoking him into retaliating and thereby gain an advantage for his team.

Jamil had initially complained of being 'abused in Arabic' by Moga, an accusation which the Flaming Oranje striker has categorically denied.

While the home side's coach Ekendra Singh immediately sprung to the defense of his player, Moga had later told to Goal.com that it was the MFC coach who was in the wrong.
